Why would I watch the football team?

As an ex band geek, the only part of a football game that I enjoy is the halftime show....

Think this through. There are 22 big sweaty men beating hell out of each other across a field. Closer to you are several beautiful women in short skirts. Why would you watch football?

Having played (college, semi-pro) up until I was 38 I might be too biased to answer that objectively!

Wrong! Bass Clarinet! (that's the instrument used to set the scary mood in a lot of movie suspense scenes) I made First Chair Regional Band playing it. LOVED marching band, chorus, & ROTC in HS... (geek to the extreme, huh?)

GET OUT OF TOWN! I played the bass clarinet, too! Played regular clarinet in marching band, then bass clarinet in symphonic band. (the BC is WAY too heavy to march around with...)

And Laura, thanks for the (I think) compliment but I primarily played Strong Safety - most fun position on the field!
