2) Once you opt-out there is no way for me to add your email address back into the system. So if you do decide to opt-out be absolutely sure you want to.


We need to find a way to fix that... That strikes me as something thats going to be a big PITA in the future.


There's no fixing it. You know those physics laws you study... It's similar to those only these are the government type.

Just to clarify, the people operating the newsletter can not add someone who has unsubscribed. The owner of the email address can still use the "click to subscribe" link and sign up. Constant Contact will then send an email to the address with a confirmation link that will let them sign back up.

OK! That makes much more sense. I was interpreting it, that once they unsubscribed that was it. They could never subscribe again. Which may well have been an issue.

I'm pretty sure that Erica got a bunch of 'bounced' emails, due to the bad email situation we run into with members who have not kept their Profile updated. Have we worked out a system to put them into the 'bad email' member category we set up here on SD.com?
