UPDATE 6/2012 - This trip is a GO for Thanksgiving 2012

Hey Gang...We HAVE pulled the trigger on Thanksgiving for DOMINICA...the BEST KEPT SECRET in the CARIBBEAN!!! See it before its too late...the lionfish have finally migrated to the island and while they have a ZERO TOLERANCE ERADICATION PROGRAM... its only a matter of time. So we are SEIZING THE MOMENT AND GOING AGAIN... LET ME KNOW IF YOU WISH TO JOIN US!!! Full trip details will be posted shortly.


Dates - Sat to Sat Nov 17-24 (you can do any days you like to make the airfare work and we'll work to get you d/o if you desire it)

Pricing: Basically you are looking at $250-$300 more for high season pricing. So the pkg we did over Memorial Day would be approx $1450 vs $1200 non-ocean view and the single non-ocean view would be approx $1813 vs $1563.

We plan to offer a $100 discount on anyone who pays in full when the trip opens up.

So let me know if you still would like to do this venue for the Thanksgiving timeframe. The pkg would include 2 dinners...one will be on the first date that everyone arrives (assuming all arrive within a few days of each other) and the 2nd will be on Turkey Day. It will include lunch vouchers like we did in May and Breakfast daily. The pkg has 2 boat dives and UNLIMITED UNLIMITED SHOREDIVING. Here are May's Details ...the trip will be exactly the same except it runs about $250-$300 more for High Season.

I'll throw out a suggestion for a Red Sea trip in the mid to late November 2012 timeframe, albeit one with a slightly more budget-oriented itinerary than the most recent SD trip there last year. In the wake of the political turmoil in Egypt earlier this year, I've seen some 2011 trip offerings that seem to be a really good value with a 7 day liveaboard, a day or two of sightseeing and international airfare for under $3,000 (see attached flyers). I would be highly interested if an SD trip with a similar itinerary and pricing could be put together.

If enough people wanted the Red Sea I would certainly consider it again. I am booking agent for both of these companies...one has far better customer reviews. These prices are attractive for sure. We've had lots of requeste for Galapagos, Cocos and some Red Sea.

Nov is usually cooler water but nice weather. May is usually best weather/water combo without being high season.

Hopefully others will feel the same way...its a great deal for sure! kamala

Tammy my only gaps are Aug if we swap the Cayman Brac trip for fall and do Red Sea for Aug or leave it in the late fall. At least for 2012.

For most of us the week of Thanksgiving is a great time to travel if booked in advance before the rates are sky high, plus we burn fewer vacation days with the Thursday & Friday holiday.

I am looking at the possibility of Thanksgiving! The trick is to be able to plan early...so this will be a high priority to lock this MYSTERY TRIP IN ASAP!!!

It won't be Roatan since that is over Halloween... although you need to do Media Luna as it is FIRST CLASS!!!

I'm open for suggestions for this trip... where do you want to go that we can do a group sort of at the last minute now...

K,What about? Aruba or Anguilla & St Lucia.I've seen on the Travel Chnl & read good things about all 3 Islands. i.e. Diving etc.

How many want Thanksgiving and how many just want a great deal in Nov and it doesn't matter what days? We have our annual industry tradeshow whic his Nov 13-18 that I can't miss so it can't be during that timeframe.

And if we don't have enough for a group trip then we'll just pass on great deals we can book for you and save you money and let you *do your own thing* Kamala

I don t mind the date just want a good deal in nov so I can get out of the lousy weather! Thanks Liz
