Which "Dona Nobis Pacem"?


The traditional canon. Embarrassed to say I'm not sure who the composer is. This was a choral performance of a bunch of local elementary schools, each performing a couple of songs, then performing as a group (there were several hundred kids) for three songs. Dona Nobis Pacem was sung as they all paraded out. It was a big deal for many of them as they were performing in our symphony hall.


I've never heard of a traditional "Dona Nobis Pacem". Mayne it's an American thing?


Or maybe I just don't know which one it is Peter :teeth: I can sing it for you. Ahem...here we go....

Kamala......I know what you mean about the language, but you're only as young as you feel! Ha!! We did #100 at Barracuda Point! Good dives but really nothing too special here to look at. Still a bad day diving.....never mind.....there is No Such Thing!!! :-D

I just ended a run of 4 weeks with only two single days off. Then I finally got a whole weekend off over Easter. It was a delight to stay in bed and be a slob for a while! And then to wake up and go walk 8 miles on the beach at low tide while the sun was shining. :D

Happiness is having spent Easter with my family and seeing my niece and nephew... and then being able to get some things done for my mom that she has been waiting for almost a year to get done! :cool1:

Happiness is finally figuring out which medicine I take for a stuffy, runny nose from hayfever... only get it often enough to forget what to take... miserable all day and tried to sleep...finally can now that the meds are working. I'm so grateful for meds......

I have to admit, at first I didn't want to do it, cause it will cut into my dive time!! :tears:

But this will be a once in a lifetime trip with all my family!! :2cool:

I understand your pain. I am going to Grand Cayman, on an all expense paid trip, and NOT DIVING! But I get to take my Italian sister along, the one who washed my hair and cooked my meals when I could not, as my guest! And then 3 weeks after we get back, she will be moving to Brussels. So I wouldn't trade time on land with my non diving friend for anything. Now I just have to see if I can find my snorkel and remember how to use it.
