Belize is a good time...June is bad as its rainy season and the mosquitos were horrible...but if July is not too wet...that could be a good option as well.

I have heard some interesting things about the Juliet live-aboard out of Miami to the Bahamas or Florida Keys. They also reposition for the Turks and Caicos during the winter months. Max 12 divers.
And on the eighth day, God said "OK, Murphy, you take over."

This is a barebones cruise meaning they supply the capt but no crew...so you have to cook yourselves and do everything. The price is right if you want to make it into an adventure but usually people want to have a bit more luxury and let someone pamper them. I think you can also set it up where they supply the crew but that increases the price obviously.
If we had lots of people interested I could look at it for a group trip and if anyone wanted to do it themselves... we can book it for you for less then you can book it yourselves. Just let me know...

Are we talking about the same operation? According to their web site (http://www.julietsailinganddiving.com/) they are a full service live-aboard with Captain, DM, Engineer., Chef and Marine Biologist on every trip.

I'm thinking ......a great live-aboard trip for 2014 at some point. I've got a relative who I think wants to join me on a hard core dive trip. Nothing specific in terms of area but I guess where ever the diving is great from a live-aboard (Meaning takes the most advantage of being on the water all the time).

Funny you should say that... we have 2 liveaboards for 2014 already set up. And they are 2 of the best you'll find... Truk Lagoon and Galapagos! So pick one and start saving... Truk is in Feb and Galapagos is in late Nov/early Dec.

Done! I'm going to look into the Truk Trip if possible. February is a great time to get out of Chicago area and into the tropics.

Any thoughts for St. Lucia?
Reading about some good reefs there..Not sure about Big Creatures though.After being spoiled at Roatan & the wildlife there,it will be a challenge to beat that location.

St Lucia is uber expensive and Dominica the sister island is SUPERIOR!! So I guess that means we may be doing Dominica in 2014 again!

K,Not to dispute what your saying..The 2 Resorts I looked at Smugglers Cove & Coconut Bay Seemed reasonable. The Piton Mtns. & scenery look beautiful.Granted they were not (dive) resorts.Both All inclusive withgood reviews..The reason I even mention a location.Thinking ahead to March as I think Judi may want to travel again in March....We went to Mexico ,last yr. if you recall.Lots of news about Mexico & crime today in the travel section....I do think she might be up for Dominica....She got robbed in Dominican Republic a few yrs ago.Mike is trying to get me on the Live aboard trip 2014.I think the relative he's talking about is my cousin from Alaska,a retired Dentist..How would that be handled? He'd have to join and go from there,right?
On another note...Did you get my last mail on the 5th, regarding show and the trip refund?I know someone signed for it(certified letter) on the 17th of Nov..
