Hey Susi.... Excellent info on possible HH locations!! I'm consolidating everyone's musings about where-to-HH in the first post at the top of this thread. We'll depend on the local gang to come up with the final plan. I think (hope) Janelle aka littlemermaid is going to help pull this off. We're in good hands with Janelle, for sure!

A couple of other details:
Traci aka Sqbagal won't be able to join us at this year's dive show; she'll be heading east to visit family. Traci: I hope we catch up with you at next year's show or, better yet, on a dive trip!! Posted Image

I finally figured out that we seem to have not one, but two Mike's joining in this year: Mike aka Bahim (who is currently in Alaska) and Mike aka godeeper. OK, OK, you had me fooled with that my-name-is-Mike-thing, but I think I've got it now!! I was having a Kamala Blond moment Posted ImagePosted Image !!!

Looking forward to meeting both of you and, yes, having guys at the booth too.

Hi!
I was thinking either The Swiss or Indochine - both walking distance. The Swiss has an upstairs area we can reserve and it holds 15 people or so.
Any idea of the usual headcount for these things so I can make reservations?

I'll be staying in Puyallup and driving back & forth.

How many people have cars or would need rides if we went to Engine House 9, for example? I have reserved the upper loft at the Swiss for now, since that's walking distance. I think both have similar food.

SMART GIRL!!! :respect:

Walking distance is always important ...but being able to commute if we have enough cars is nice too! Our only concern if we have enough cars is parking at some of these places on a Saturday can be brutal so not knowing the area nor knowing how many people can get around or will fight traffic/parking... I can't make a final decision.

Hoping for more input soon so a decision can be made! :fish2:

Janelle aka littlemermaid, Mike aka Bahim, & Susi aka 62&newdiver:

Great ideas on the HH! I will have a rental car, if needed. Although I agree that walking gives more flexibility, it looks like most of your driving choices are easy driving at just over two miles. If we pick any of those, the deal-breaker would be to discard any choices with truly obnoxious parking.

I pulled your suggestions together in the first post in this thread. Please go ahead and make a final decision... we will have fun no matter what you choose. Posted Image
