Saba trip depths start at 60ft and go as deep as????

Saba has pinnacles that are AMAZING!!! They are deep and start at 80-100ft at the top of them and well the bottom is nearly endless!

There will also be a decent in water swim to those pinnacles and we may encounter some current which we may drift with or we may need to swim against. The dive guides are very skilled at working to manage these dives but this is not a venue for a really new diver nor a really weak diver skill wise.

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TRIP REMINDER:


Hey gang... we need your help! Our entire site is run by volunteers..including me. Everyone has a full time job and helps SD in their off time and/or spare time.

Here's what we need and how you can help!?!?!

1. Use THIS thread and/or the dedicated thread in the private discussion forums to advise us of your preferences, changes, updates etc. (This helps us keep all the critical info we need in one or two places.)

2. Understand that many members...especially our new ones do not realize that we currently take in vital information about your trip via email, pm, your docs, the TRIP PM, the special discussion forums and the main trip thread + stuff sent to Kamala directly or which ever helper was helping a member. This means that critical trip information is resident in as many as 7 or 8 places.

In order to ensure that we get it ALL RIGHT we consolidate everything into one location (our trip spreadsheet) and make sure its updated. Then our trip coordinators update the 3rd post which is our FEEDBACK post to you. We also use individual posts to advise of payments rec'd but we work very hard to record everything you want in the 3rd post.

In other words...its a full time job to manage our trips but our TC's (trip coordinators and myself) do it as a labor of love and for the diving...in their free time!

3. TIME...we never have enough of it and other than myself or one of our helpers who work swing shifts... your payments and/or changes will probably take a day or three to be updated. PLEASE BEAR WITH US!!! Watch the 3rd post...if you don't see your payment credited by your name in your booking template summary after 4-5 days then let us know. For privacy reasons we NEVER list your full flight details in the main thread but rather list who's arriving when in the SPECIAL DISCUSSION FORUMS in a topic called "Who Arrives When".

4. And finally... we know its confusing sometimes where to post what and when. And being run by volunteers makes it even more confusing when we can't respond immediately. But if you google us you'll see we are not a 'fly by night' organization and we have a stellar reputation. You can click HERE for comments made by our members and of course feel free to add your own!

And there is a light at the end of the tunnel...by the end of the year we'll have a new booking system that will automate MUCH of what you currently do now manually. It will not totally automate everything...but it will make it easier and then we'll start on the 2nd round of enhancements in preparation for our 10 year anniversary in Feb 2014.

Thank you for your understanding and your support. If this is your first trip...it will be wonderful and it won't be your last! If this is a repeat trip...then you already know what to expect... GREAT DIVING! GREAT PEOPLE! AND GREAT FUN!!!

Thank you for being patient and it may pay off. It has come to my attention that in addition to one member possibly needing to drop out ...that a large number of participants are extremely overdue on payments. Several of our savvy members have reminded me that if payments are not made timely that a person's spot can be released to the next person on the wait list.
