REMINDER: SHOW UP EARLY FOR YOUR FLIGHTS. The early birds will get better priority if there is an issue. Also put the customer service number in your phone...if you have to be rebooked you can call immediately vs waiting in line to have someone help you.

Hey Mike we nearly got stuck in Chicago flying to Hawaii on Sat Feb 1 when you were getting 7-8 inches of snow in only a couple of hours. We BARELY made our otherwise full flight to HNL that ended up with a lot of open seats due to others not being so lucky. So while our inbound was late...the HNL flight pretty much on time... correction it pulled from the gate nearly on time but then we sat for an hour on the tarmac de-icing. Not that I'm complaining about de-icing...I am not.

Kamala, I'm glad you didn't get stuck! Completely agree with you on the de-icing. I won't complain about that either.
Good reminder for the customer service number to be in my phone. Apparently I already did it. I planned on showing up 3 hrs early for my flight (JUST IN CASE) even though right now the weather is showing just cold weather I don't want to take any chances if I get stuck in security or for some other reason. I want to at least get to HNL without any issues. I know if I show up too early I won't be able to check in so there's a balance there but I'd rather be waiting at the airport than miss a flight.
