The trip filled before we could send out the notify list.

Since the people interested in Truk are a very different subset of our divers...I will see what they have for another trip option.

Just sent the SD.Com documents to trips@singledivers.com this morning. I realize there will be one more form that the boat needs & it will be sent to us later.

I added to my original post that I would be intersted in the nitrox mix options & understand that this might be an extra fee. Yes, certified. :-)

Since I need to use my free miles to get TO and FROM the airport in Hawaii, I want to be sure that I travel on dates that will easily coordinate with the SD.Com flights leaving Hawaii going all over, then returning to Hawaii when the two trips are finished. Airport code HNL, if I arrive in HNL on Feb 7th, then depart from HNL on Feb 25th, will this allow plenty of time for all of the local flights?

I hope to have the HNL layover options today. I also need to ask Jerry if he is wanting 1 nite or 2 in HNL as that changes the flights of course.

Kamala,

I know things are busy but just wanted to make sure there was nothing I can do or others can do who are confirmed for the trip to help out with airfare booking. Not that I want to shell out the $2k sooner than I need to but I do want to make sure that the cost doesn't go up further from what it was confirmed at when previously posted.

I'd like to see as well if I can get a cost as requested from Chicago (either Midway or O'hare) to LAX. I've got a $200 credit with United currently and if possible I would like to use that. I can book on my own if needed but would be willing to get some help coordinating the flight times to meet up with the group.

Again I don't want to complicate things just want to make sure there's nothing that I can be doing to help out in the mean time. I'll be sending in my full set of docs by the end of the weekend for both Palau and Truk. (Other than the resort or boat waivers since they are not yet available.)

I don't think it's quite set in yet that I'll be headed to such great locations.

This site is frustrating but I think this is right. Want to go with my friends Bill and Geoffrey. Sorry our names are not very creative. We will try to fix that but wanted to get on this trip before it sold out. I also submitted my membership but its not upgraded yet. I hope that does not affect my registration. Mark

I have asked our Admin to look into your registration problem Mark. Payment for Premier Membership and your trip deposit is how you secure your spot on the trip.

For now I'm just planning on passing through HNL with the group. But I guess depending on costs I could look at sharing a room with Jerry if he didn't mind. Thanks for asking about it. If it doesn't change flight costs and splitting the hotel room isn't too expensive I guess it might be worth it.

If it's too costly I'll have to skip it. I wish I had the funding to stay either way but I'm hoping to get some upgraded camera gear before I head on this epic trip. I'll likely drop the money on the gear instead of the night in HNL but again depending on price I might be able to do both.

I'll fill out the template as soon as it's available. Send it my way and I'll complete it and return ASAP.

I'll get pricing first for the flight. The price of flight is the same we've quoted even if you do an overnight. The hotel pricing will be posted later. Then you can officially decide how to have the air quoted. I am trying to keep requests to a min so that they won't cut us off.

Assume $100 per nite for hotel worst case in HNL. I know it will be less. How do you want to request the air? I have a short window as I'll be offline for awhile getting a big trip started and people taken care of.
