I hope you have been able to recover from the non-stop travel you have had and the personal issues that came up during all the travel.Gang I am back in the office and more importantly...feel like a human again! I'll have this trip wrapped up for you in the next few days. Thank you! kamala

Each wreck has a tale to tell about its life and its demise.
If you are observant while diving in dark places listen to the account each has to tell, You cannot come away unaffected.

Jerry,There was no shore diving on the last trip. the boat rides are a bit on the long side so after a day of diving most people were done. We had a tough time getting enough people to do one night dive on the last trip. The Hotel is very nice with an overwater bar and an open air common area's plus an in house spa! got to love a massage after diving for a week in Truk and a couple days in Palau. It's only a couple minutes bus ride from the hotel to the dive shop so it's not a big deal. the dive shop has nice big rinse tanks and a large secured area to hang gear to dry after diving. Fish'n Fin is a nice operation and everything is done in a well thought out fashion. I Can't wait to get back.

Generally you'll do 4 a day - like Jerry said the boat rides can be long. You'll do 2 dives in the morning then lunch on an island nearby and then 2 more before heading back. Some of the best diving I've ever done was there - the reef hook dive to watch the sharks swim by was amazing and then the very fast drift up the channel was really fun (you do the dive during a tide change when the sharks are feeding if I recall correctly).I was wondering how many dives I'd be able to get in this week while I'm there. Guessing that they will do maybe two in the morning and then maybe two in the afternoon if people want?
As you said then maybe a night dive?

Thanks Jerry! Hopefully we can get more than 14 in during the week but I can't wait to get there!I just looked at my log book and I had 14 dives in Palau. that includes the night dive but it doesn't include the jellyfish lake snorkle trip. I don't log snorkling. we did the night dive on the day we did jellyfish lake. in retrospect not the best plan. it's a short hike up a steep hill and down the other side to the lake but it's hot and humid so I was shot when I got back to the boat for the ride to the dive shop. all this after two morning dives. You can go on Fish'N Fins web page and facebook page to check out the diving setup.
