I was going to add myself to the notify list but I just checked that same flight I looked at in May on UNITED and now airfare is $3500 so unless you guys have something reserved that's just too much for a week. Please notify me when trip opens so I can see total costs.Thank you.

Not sure where you are starting but since I was checking in for another flight, I just ran it out of IAH and it is $1,900 bucks. IAH/GUM/ROR and back. SFO was roughly the same. That leaves a lot of money to get to Houston.

Edit: I then kind of snuck in to see the seat loads and there are TONS of seats still available. Be patient I think it will be OK.

So my flight is booked! When does this trip open up so that I can finalize it all?

OK, is this Crazy? I found a flight that if I leave either feb 14/15th I arrive 16/17 at 4am only 1 stop! However that stop is in Seoul , South Korea. Does anyone think I shouldn't layover there? Return flight leave the 24th at 4am again one stop in Korea. For the low,low price of $1923 includes taxes and 2 bags plus carry on up to 22lbs. I would take the flight that allowed me to arrive a day earlier. I'll spend valentines day on the plane.Posted Image

Chicago. It's on Asiana airlines. I think it may go east around instead of west, but what a lonely flight that would be :( 6 hours alone in an airport in Korea. I like their food if I can figure out how to order it. Bibimbap, lol.

It will fly by and the food is quite good on Asiana. I will work on some air quotes for you...or anyone else. And I'll get this damn trip opened up today or else! :whip:/>

Hey Kamala, I should probably start thinking about this flight as well. I could use a price from YYC, including the Truk portion. No need for layovers, but not against the idea either.

Will start working on flights for everyone interested. Just let me know. I think we created an airline form to collect the info we need... but if not I'll get the process started and we'll go from there.

Put me on as interested. Too early to know for sure yet. Certainly enjoyed the trip there before. It's still the best.

So there is now an outside chance my 179 day paid vacation compliments of the US government may not happen. Can I get added to the notify list when it opens for booking? I'll have to 1) wait until I know for sure and 2) see whether I can swing it and add on another week somewhere since the Truk trip is full. Would really suck to go all that way for just one week.
