Paid balance due of $550 +3% to make sure you got it today. So I've transferred $349, sent $500 cash, and pd $550 balance with C.C.=$1399 one less thing to worry about. Back to packing for Roatan Posted Image

What is a nautilus dive? You sounded so excited I signed up based on it. I was thinking it was the motorized things that pull you thru the water....like James Bond.

A couple of more pics of the Nautilus dive from the Palau 2011 trip.

Re: night dive.......Oh what was I thinking? Of course I will go on the night dive to check out the critters that roam around in the dark.......I also noticed that most everyone is going on the night dive. I can just imagine that if I were the only one not going, you'd likely see something totally AMAZING and I'd never hear the end of it...so I'm in!

I won't be doing the night boat dive. I'm looking forward to relaxing after a long cold winter. I would also like to pass on the Nautilus dive for now. I'll understand if it fills up. I thought it was something other than it was. I want to save some time to just snorkel or kayak around and basque in the sun.

As I remember, the Nautilus dive was in shallow water very near the top of a sheer wall. Those who paid for the Nautilus experience went there and those who did not went the other way and did a wall dive. When we were done with them we finished our dive on the wall as well.

The night dive we did was on the wreck of a Jake sea plane. I thought it was a spectacular dive and it is in my top 10 all time favorites. That was the icing on a super day of diving, 5 dives, the Iro wreck, the Helmet wreck, Chandelier cave, big drop off, Ngerchong inside and last but not least the Jake sea plane. I was one whipped pup after that, but as the saying goes: Sleep when you're dead !!! :D

Each wreck has a tale to tell about its life and its demise.

If you are observant while diving in dark places listen to the account each has to tell, You cannot come away unaffected.

Anyone know if Palau was affected by the recent Typhoon that hit the Philippines?

Looked this morning and didn't realize that Palau is only 300-400 miles off the east coast of the Philippines. I hope that by the time we head out there the area recovers if it was damaged. Of course I'm also very saddened to hear that so many people in the Philippines have been severely affected. Posted Image
