Hey Ann, I really hope you make it! It will be great to have another crazy Canuck along! I won't be there as long as you beforehand but I would definitely be interested in hooking up when I get there.

Re the points that I booked, I actually booked through Air Miles reward miles and am taking a flight to Trinidad and then bought a hopper flight from Trinidad to Grenada on Liat. I didin't look into Aeroplan since I could actually get it done on Air Miles and it seems my family has been collecting those points for years and no one has every used them! Of course, being a good daughter, I thought I would have to bite the bullet and take one for the team

Air is running about $800 so far. Need to start checking out other carriers. I've got a calls in to see what else we can arrange and I hope to have something later today!

Hey girl...here are some flight options...all on AA and they are around $753 each. There were a number of choices so I'd consider getting one soon as AA has been on sale but all airfare options are expected to rise!
