Hi Keith and Kevin,I need to know where and how I am going to find my ride Friday. I have not been to IAH before. I myself will be wearing a bright red hawaiian shirt.
Got my assignment from Sandy. She said for me to pick you two and your gear up and get y'all down to the restaurant and the boat. I'm sending the two of you my mobile phone number in a PM. Call me before your plane depart so I'll know if the plane is on time and I'll meet you at luggage pick-up. Don't know what I'm wearing but look for a short, oriental, prissy-looking woman and that's me

Just a thought: Que, maybe it would be good to let the guys get their luggage and then exit to the pickup area where you could be waiting with the van. First pick up Keith at the NW terminal, and then drive over to the Continental terminal for Kevin. Otherwise, you will need to park. Whatever is easier for you.
Mandi and Linda -
Mandi, your flight gets in first, so I will be looking for you at the baggage pickup. Won't be hard to find you, it's a small airport. We will load your stuff into the car, and then have a Margarita and wait for Linda! Linda, if you don't see us when you exit the plane, just go to the baggage area. We'll find you.

Dennis, if it does any major damage like my storm did a few years ago, you will never hear the end of it! Trust me, I know! This MY STORM since it is named after ME and I claim it.
The upside of that is that your name would never be used for a storm again.

...from the NOAA Flower Gardens forcast:
THU
VARIABLE WIND 5 TO 10 KT. SEAS 2 FT.
THU NIGHT THROUGH SAT
VARIABLE WIND 5 TO 10 KT BECOME N TO NE
10 KT SAT. SEAS 1 TO 2 FT. ISOLATED TSTMS NW PART.
SUN

....so it appears our trip is in very shape until maybe late Sunday night......I'm assuming if it gets a little bumpy Sunday evening or night we'll head to Stetson, which is half way back to port from East and West Bank and complete our diving there....and from ZD's report Stetson is really a cool place too..........so I think we're be successful in squeezing a nice trip in between 'Cindy' and 'Dennis'.

Que,
If you would like to do this instead of meeting me at baggage claim, just let me know. This will probably be easier for both of us. You won't have to park and I won't have to carry my gear as far. I am not sure what time Kevin arrives and if that has some bearing on whether you want to park or not.

Full update for you folks... Looks like the proximity of Dennis may have negative affects on the weekend. Will be watching further... As I suspected, Cindy is out of the way leaving good weather for the trip, until Dennis pokes his ugly head into the gulf. I suggest prayer!!!....looks like we need some -- Red Ink Antidote-- !

Plan B will to PARTEE and Sight Seeing in Houston with the awesome Houston gang if we can't go diving. Of course if anyone needs to fly back standby etc. that would be fine as well.
BUT....I'm praying the weather will be just fine and we'll have a great trip JUST AS WE HAVE PLANNED!

It's definitely too early to cancel a trip, but not too early to pray! It seems the forecast has gotten a wee bit better with the 10:30 forecast, but still way to early to count chickens... either way.Hey gang...the weather changes that far offshore frequently...so the final call will be Friday at noon. This will be too late for people flying in so we will plan to move to plan B if we are blown out.
