My prayers for a speedy and well recovery. One thought for beveryone, books on tape / DVD work quite well. Especially those with a smooth voice and a montivational message.

Again all my prayers.

What wonderful news. I'm so glad to hear your son is doing better, and you will both remain in my prayers for a full and speedy recovery.

It's been a long time coming, but there's more good news today.

At 1PM today, Skye is bringing Mikey home!!!!!

Yesterday she told me:

......he is doing better than the physicians predicted, he will still need outpatient therapy, but he can live at home. I'm taking 2 months off from the navy so I can be home with him.

Today, along with permission to share this happy news with you fine people, she told me:

I'm very excited and happy about it. I leave here at 1300 to go sign him out, and can't wait to take him home. I know it will be hard work for both of us but I believe he will feel better and make faster progress at home and receiving therapy on an outpatient basis. Mikey and I have always been close and he responds more to me than to the physicians and therapists. He definatley tries harder when I'm there with him.

I'm excited for them both. Continue to let them know they are in our thoughts, hearts and prayers.

and I missed this earlier, but I will be lifting Mikey (and family) up in prayer for his recovery/rehab. Glad to hear he's doing better.
