We definately have to show off Alki.... So pegasus for pizza it is..... We will then be close enough to the other Seattle sites if we feel the need to head uptown :welcome: .

That is true, we're right across the bay from downtown. Want to go in my car?

Well all right divers,

This is my last day of work this week. I will be getting on the plane bright and early tomorrow morning, well early anyway. I will see you all Saturday at noon.

Ok, just to pin it down a little more?

After the dives at 3-Tree or Seacrest cove 2 if we end up there...

We are going directly to Pegasus or after gear drop off... and then meet at Pegs at around 5? 6? 7? whatever??? but going home first or just straight from 3-Tree..

I ask, as Keith wanted to fill some tanks and the dive shop is right on the way to Alki (Pegasus) where he can get them filled up there... believe it closes at 7pm... or was it 5pm, don't remember, but Keith has the web site...

Hope that helps...

I really don't recommend that dive shop at Alki for fills, better to go to Starfish over on Nickerson, they can do Nitrox as you wait.

Let's see, meet at noon, in water around 1:30ish, give a healthy one hour for first dive, finish that one at 2:30ish.... Why don't we do this, second dive at Seacrest and then just go straight to Pegasus afterwards, since it's just down the road? That sounds like the simplest plan. That way we don't have to time it out so much since we'll all be together still. Seacrest does have facilities to rinse gear and restrooms to change in. Unless you really want to get cleaned up in case we go downtown. Even then, don't really need to, depending on where we go. Sound like a plan?

Sounds good to me...

Don't know about Nitrox, AIR Rocks, but the shop is fine as AIR goes...
the concern was making it back to Starfish before the 5pm closing...

It would have been close... but the above sounds good too.. that way, two different dive sites and as you said, it's right there for pegasus...

I'm still concerned with the currents at 3-tree with the exchange etc... so not holding my breath that we'll get in there... so so, but???

Whatever... :thankyou:

I have not dived 3-Tree on a bad exchange like this, only on moderate or mild exchanges, so it's going to be a learning experience for me too. But 3-Tree is known to be a relatively sheltered site.

Probably want to give Starfish a call to see if they can hang around, or just go a few blocks down the road to Deep Fathom, they're open until 7pm. http://www.deepfathom.com. I'm just trying to throw some business over to my good buddy Randy at Starfish, but hell, Deep Fathom is so close, he'll understand. Tell you what, I still have an air card at Deep Fathom, go ahead and use it. Still several fills on it last I checked. It's been there unused for a couple years now that I don't live around the corner anymore. I'll be there to ok it. You can buy me a beer.

So, 3-Tree, Seacrest, DF for fills (unless you really want to go to Starfish), then pizza and beer at Pegasus.
