Another chapter.
Today, I received notification from my attorney that PADI filed a motion for rehearing and a motion for rehearing en banc. This was denied by the Ninth Circuit unanimously on September 19.
At this point, PADI's only options are to accept the ruling and pay fees as previously ordered or file a writ of certiorari to the United States Supreme Court. While possible, this is unlikely since the Supreme Court only accepts some of those cases considered to have significant federal issues at stake or those that present some important social isssue. This case has neither.

A common meaning of "con" is as in "confidence trick". Don't know who "Ed" is, though.Con-ed = continuing education perhaps?
