Anyone else given up on finding love?

Love can be a very romantic one, or a level of friendship that goes beyond being "pals" but not reaching intimacy.
So with that definition, I'm always looking for love... love of a friend.

I'll probably get flamed for this but most of the women I've met who are into scuba have got some real issues and are more trouble than they are worth.
By all that is wet, I do hereby swear, (politely), and attest, upon pain of never diving again, (real or imagined), that I understand and affirm, that I agree to the above.

What kind of problems are you referring too? And why have you noticed they seem to be more common with women into scuba? Just curious...-wwI'll probably get flamed for this but most of the women I've met who are into scuba have got some real issues and are more trouble than they are worth.
By the way...are they new divers or seasoned divers?

Having said that I have found some who have what I'm looking for but I'm not what they are looking for!

I think that that sums it up for a lot of us! I've started to see a trend in my own life of the men in my age group being more interested in younger women. Sometimes sad to be so discounted by men who I have a lot in common with but, even though I could pass for younger, I'm too proud of my years & my grandchildren to do so!! OTOH, I am constantly baffled by the much younger men that hit on me- some young enough to be my sons! What's up with that?Aw the story of my life...I know it well!! LOL!!!

I just finished buying painted feather pics for two female buddies. Mailed four postcards each to both of them (will see how many make it there).
Last day of diving today. Taught two women how to do the moonwalk (more of a jump) under water. The first dive they thought I was crazy but on the second dive both did it..including flips.
And they liked my first dive recommendation....Palancar something finishing over Palancar Gardens. Th entire hour was beside or on top of reef.
In case you are wondering...one is married and the other is way too young.
PS Marvel, I really have to see a woman's eyes and talk with her a bit to form my best impression of them as a person, but I gather from your pic and your posts that guys just find you very attractive. Remember my post about women getting sexier with a little age? And in your case I do mean just a little. I have to be really careful that I don't get "foot in mouth" syndrome.

I reject that totally. I think that most guys are probably just intimidated by you. You're very attractive, blazingly smart, active, the list goes on. I suspect that it takes a special kind of guy to match up with you.Yes. Completely. I was apparently meant to be alone.
