I've always wanted a Viking funeral, two problems I have are 1 finding someone good enough with a bow to hit the boat, and 2 convincing my wife that she goes with me and the dog if she is ready or not. Even if it not a true Viking funeral.. what a send off.

If I had to have a Tombstone, I guess "He'd still be here if he hadn't been there" would be catchy.

@!&% Turn on my air.... bleh... too late.

Seriously, I don't want to be buried in a cemetery either. Cremate me and spread my ashes out over a reef and let me become part of the coral for others to see and enjoy.

Dan, there is an organization/company that will allow people who request cremation to have their ashes mixed with concrete and molded into an artificial reef.

Reef Ball

There are plenty of good pictures of Reef Ball artificial reefs on the site.

No tombstone for me! Plant my (unembalmed) ashes under a tree where they can do some good...

:twist: Even better there is a place where they put your ashes in concrete and made you part of an artificial reef. A new meaning for swimming with the fishes :lmao:

Besides Eternal Reefs, there is a new one Atlantis Reef Project . They are planning to build 600,000 sq ft of sculptures and remains. Saw them at Ocean Fest last year and it looks pretty cool. All your friends could come look for your plaque.

I always liked the quirky last words of Oscar Wilde: "Either the wallpaper goes, or I do!" Ya gotta love someone with a warped enough sense of humor to play a joke on his family with his final breath.
