Hipshot- my thoughts are most definitely with you and your family at this difficult time. My father passed away last June so I have a fair idea of what you are going through. May this sade vent bring your family even closer together as it did with most of mine.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I know what you're dealing with right now. I lost my father three years ago. Just know that there are people here that care about you. In time, it will get better. And you can cherish the good times you had with him, and all those Happy Memories.
God Bless you

I just want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for your kind words, prayers, and thoughts. It is comforting.

As per Dad's request, he's being cremated and his ashes will be dispersed off Rye Beach, one of his favorite places...although we're going to wait until the weather warms up a bit before going out on the water. A week from this coming Saturday (on 21 Jan) we're going to have a Memorial Mass for him in the church where he served as an Altar Boy and where he and my Mom got married. A donation will be made in his name to the local council of the Boy Scouts of America, where he was an Eagle Scout and a Scoutmaster.

Thanks again,
Rick
