Well I'm seriously considering signing up but must wait until I see if I have a conflict with the dates. My son starts college (UC Santa Cruz) in late September and I might have to be around to help his transition. I've been to Cocoview many years ago and love the shore diving/walls off of Cocoview/Fantasy Island. Being a recent divorcee I also like the odds so far.

Have you found out if you can join us? It will be a blast!!! -ww

WW still not sure about my conflict dates. My son starts college late September and I'm not sure how much help my ex is going to be. I'd love to come and meet all those going but can't commit just yet.

Hotel:

Roatan will be filling up very fast and I must have the operator paid in full by July 9th. After that it will be on an 'as available' basis. Right now we have unlimited availability so if you are planning to do this trip...please let me know as soon as you can!

Air:

Scheduled air has dropped to $504 from Houston to Roatan. That airfare rate is good until Sunday at midnight. We should know if we can get a bulk air package by tomorrow that either matches the published rate but lasts longer then Sunday OR beats that published rate!

I will keep you posted! We are trying to get the bulk air on Continental! -k

Note:

Seems several big groups are also planning to be in Roatan at Fantasy Island so we must be onto something good!! That and the fact that it is a very nice high end hotel with a really great all inclusive package! Kamala

Yes PADI is doing a singles week the week before us. The funny part is that they got about 12-15 women and about 60 guys so they had to shut it off as it was too lopsided. Too bad we aren't the same week...we could recruit all those singles to a really fun singles group!! -ww

There are 3 ways to see who all is going on the trip.

1. Read all the posts and hope that everyone going posts that they are going on the trip.
2. Read the first post with all the details on the trip cuz at the bottom we have listed all the people who are attending the trip.
3. Check using the Aquatrix Dive Reservation System we use on SD to book divers on our trips.

To check the Aquatrix system you go to the main page of www.SingleDivers.com and click on upcoming trips. Then click on the calendar at the bottom of the page. Then click on the trip you are interested in such as the Roatan trip. (Be sure to click on the name of the trip so you'll see who has registered for the trip so far.) When you do click on the name of the trip, all the trip details will pop up along with a boat with all the divers who have officially registered for the trip and you'll see them there.

To register on the Aquatrix system for the Roatan or any Single Divers .com trip, simply click on the "Register Now" button in the upper right corner when you can see the boat with names on it. You will be asked to enter your password and user name or register for the first time if you have not registered via Aquatrix for another SD trip.

PLEASE have your c-card and emergency contact info handy WHEN you register as you will be asked one time for this information. If you fill this information out correctly and completely, it will fill out the dive waivers on a trip automagically for you!

Let me know if you have any questions! Once you have registered in the Aquatrix system (you only do it once) I'll be able to send you your full trip confirmation and payment receipts etc.
