What? You don't even give us credit for fire? And what about the wheel? I thought the wheel was brilliant!

I think nature....MOTHER Nature....gets credit for fire - someone just happened to figure out how to keep it burning and use it....could be a man, could be not. This, from a woman who absolutely loves the movie "Quest for Fire" (it always, always makes me laugh).

I'll give you the wheel credit, however. That definitely seems like something a man would invent.

No, we did not invent the wheel, as a certain scarab that rolls balls of dung did. As men we may have credit for inventing war, but i am sure we did it inspired or instigated by women... Because we love them... :cool1:

hmmm didn't invent fire ~ didn't invent the wheel...
Remind me again what you men are good for :)

Oh wait... I remember now... :cool1:

I think its important when you have any friendship/relationship to remember each others strengths and weaknesses.

I don't expect my guy friends or boyfriend to behave like my girl friends.
I don't expect everyone to be my best friend.

Somethings have to be saved for those special friends.

Greg ~ I promise to never bore you with the intimate details of any of my friendship/relationships.
I will bore you with the latest dives, critter sightings and the cool new gear details. :bam:

The complete and absolute truth as I believe it (tongue in cheek) is contained in this bit of prose/satire called the Ladder Theory.

It sums up with humor and pseudo-science how men and women relate to each other.

According to psychologists, while men and women are equally capable of solving problems, it is the thought process leading to the final solution that varies between men and women. For men, a problem is an opportunity to demonstrate their problem solving ability in a quick and efficient manner. Men see having the problem solved as the ultimate goal, and for men, the best solution is the one that is the quickest and most efficient. For women, a problem is an opportunity to work together to find a resolution. Women relish the chance to communicate about a problem and the act of working together to solve a problem is more important than actually solving the problem. Women feel better about problems if the process of problem solving draws relationships and friendships closer together.

Problems are for those with nothing more positive in their lives. I have no problems, so I don't have to solve anything. Well, if you don't count finding a way to earn plenty of money without working, and finding that ultimate dive buddy. But those are minor situations compared to REAL problems!

Yes - I hear you. My biggest problem right now is that my psychic powers have not evolved enough yet for me to be able to figure out the winning lottery numbers....

I am almost psychic. I can tell you the results of a coin flip almost 50% of the time...

In this liberated era, that should be a woman's job... at least 50% of the time (assuming equivalent incomes and expenses)!

Hmmm... sounds like things are heating up here between Trace and Pocahontas! Trace, my friend, if you're giving out numbers to the ladies that ensure they'll get lucky, I hope my number is among the 10! After all, we seem to have similar tastes (and distastes) in the ladies! Snicker....

Well, we could wait for THAT to happen, or, we could play with numbers such as .44, .50, .357, 7.62mm, 5.45mm, .308, 25mm, etc., and become some sort of Point Break Bonnie and Clyde traveling the world diving, shredding and robbing banks starting with the National Australian Bank; Deutsche Bank AG, Frankfurt am Main, Germany; BNP Paribas SA, Paris, France; The Bank of Tokyo; UBS AG, Zürich, Switzerland; ABN AMRO Holding NV, Amsterdam, Netherlands; Fortis Bank NV/SA, Brussels, Belgium; Banca Intesa SpA, Milan, Italy; CIMB Islamic Bank in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. What do you think?
