Maybe this time I'll actually get to see U-352 I've been blown out five times and just so the Wench doesn't have to point it out, none of those other trips were with SingleDivers.

Hey Jeff! Great to see you again! Roatan was just tooooooo long ago!

As for the nitrox add-on...that is $13 per tank or $104 for the 4 days of diving.

As for routes from JFK/LGA/ISP to RDU...let me work on that. You should have LOTS of options. A quick look right now shows about $168 non-stop! So you are looking good!

And your flight options look great too!

Believe it or not, the two Tims (Tim and Tim Also) from Chicago (we met in Roatan) are interested in this trip. Tim Also is going to fly and Tim is going to incorparate this into a 2 week vacation/tour of the southeastern US.

I know there is more information you need from me but not sure what, please let me know. Do I qualify for the rebate and if so when do I apply for it? What are the water temps at depth on these dives?

That is great news!!! Yes you qualify for the rebate...all premier members and above qualify. You send it in after the trip and you can find the form online. You'll get the password to the forum that has the survey, waiver and rebate form in it when we get your deposit.

The water temps will range from 78-79 if the summer is slow to arrive and low to mid 80's if summer arrives early. And YES this is the temps at depth. We usually do not have a thermocline of any magnitud unless the Lab, gulf and atlantic are merging. That usually happens during seasonal changes and July is well into the summer months so is usally very warm. And definately warm by Chicago standards!

This is one of my favorite destinations. Sign me up! My check is in the mail! I would like to have my name added to the driving in list but I will be staying 5 nights and I will need fills only. I will also be available to teach classes if there is anyone wanting Nitrox, Deep Specialty, Boat...

Hi OTWdiver! What other classes are you available to teach? I am looking for a search and recovery PADI cert to use in some of my other NC coast dives. I LOVE doing wreck hunting expeditions and could really use this cert. Perhaps I could use one of our fellow divers to search and recover (alive of course) !! :-)

Can't wait! This winter weather is getting boring. I am ready for the warm water and feeling like part of a BIG aquariam again!!

Hi Kamala!
Just a note to all on this trip... I just purchased an underwater video unit - camera and editing system. I will be video taping a couple of our wreck dives. I also have a DVD recorder so I can make copies for everyone diving with the friendly NC sharks around the beautiful wrecks before we all depart! The schools of fish are also beautiful and at times I have to watch my bubbles to get oriented as to which way is up. Can't wait to see that in action on film. These will also be shown in the dive shop I am training under so you will be famous in North Carolina!!
