If you guys are serious about attending a HH in this area, I will be glad to do the coordination. Later today I'll start a separate thread and see what kinda interest we can generate. I do have a single girlfriend that might be interested. So far I haven't been able to get her to join SD, but I'll keep trying.

I don't think she has to be a member to attend, but it would make it easier for her to find out who to avoid before she goes! :thankyou:

I recently met a woman who dives. (MSDI too)

it didn't last a week. self centered, insecure and egotistical.

I'm 0/4 past month.

Please Lord, someone normal!

and I know, "normal" is all relative.

I've been told that all women are nuts, its just finding one with a level that you can tolerate that's the hard part :cool1:

Im gonna withhold comment on this as I really like my standing with the B&G and dont feel like getting keel hulled.

but put it this way blonde + nuts is always a interesting combo, and yes bill is aware of this.

My problem up north is men are either married/spoken for OR they are single and expect single women divers to look like Jessica Alba not like Barney the purple dinosaur. If you don't look hot, then either they won't talk to you OR they make it a point to tell you how everything you do is wrong (and yes, they are usually DIR divers too!).... can you feel the love??

Yeah but DIR divers will always tell you're going to die if you don't do it their way. i don't expect anyone to look like Jessy Alba except Her.

For what it is worth, I don't expect a dive partner to look like Miss Jessica. The local cool water conditions don't help. Dry suits and BC's are hardly flattering to the female form. I go for the whole package, not just looks.

Speaking of Purple Dinosaurs... Here is an interesting optical illusion. It is like one of those laser art pictures. If you stare at the picture for thirty seconds you can see Barney magically appear... Apparently this only works on the guys though...

Sorry to hear you are diving with jerks.

I guess us PNW divers are a unique breed. :cheerleader:

Over the years I have met all kinds of divers. The majority have been great people.

If a guy can't see past my "dive hood" hair and my mask face ~ he is not worth my time.

I have one dive buddy who had known me for months and had never seen me in make up.
We met one night after work to dive and he kept looking at me funny.
He finally commented that he had never seen me with my hair done and make up on.
The dive that night was fabulous.
We still dive together when we can match schedules and he continues to be my favorite dive buddy.
(he has never told me I dive wrong or that I am going to die ~ gotta love that) :cheerleader:

Sorry dude, but for an IT guy you kinda stink huh? I didn't see no dinosaur no matter how long I stared at that pic...

Dinosaur? What dinosaur?

She's not that hot to me. If she hadn't made a diving movie, I doubt I would even know she existed.

Kinda like that "blue pants" picture that's been circulating. I couldn't find the blue pants nor Barney. (Sorry, but can't post the blue pants pic here).
