Thank you all for your support in this matter. It is a shame that a 2 1/2 year old little boy has to go through all of this. May GOD be with him and his family today during his surgery.

i know you guys are sleeping...
it's midnight here and kenny's still in surgery...14 hrs. now. he's stable as a rock. my friends(nada and suanne) are doing a wonderful job with his anesthesia, and my OTHER friend, the surgeon (dan curry), is unbelievable...standing there all this time in his cowboy boots . he's determined to get it all out. the tumor by it's nature is very vascular, so he's being extremely meticulous in his dissection. i just gave (another) update to my niece so maybe she can close her eyes for a while. i won't be going anywhere, that's for sure....
thank you for asking, cevin

The surgery ended very early this morning. Kenny is stable but unfortunately, they did not get all of the tumor. His doctors are considering the next course of action. The family thanks you for your continued thoughts and prayers.
news updates
22-Jul-04 07:12 AM - Mommy from 7/21 :
The latest news is that Kenny is rock solid and that the operation is moving "right along". In other words, it's great news. The doc still thinks this is going to be a long procedure. Dan andI got to stay with Kenny before o.r. I even dressed in scrubs, walk and held my baby until he fell asleep on the table. Kenny was very relaxed. That made me feel better. Dan and I are trying to keep busy. This is so hard. Love, Kenny's Mamma
------------------------------
6:50 pm 7/21--Kenny lost only one unit of blood so far. Still very stable. Docs say they will keep on going..Daddy calls Kenny a machine! Love, Mary----9:20--Auntie Leen has been our contact person. She peeks her head in Kenny's o.r. room, and gets the news from her friends(the anesthesiologists)The Doctor, they say, has been meticulous. They should be reaching the core of the tumor maybe now. This may determine if they can go on because of blood loss issues. Thank you Mullaganeers!! Thank you everyone for the 6675 inquires on the site!
Thank you for your Beautiful words of encouragement.
