Great. Thanks for the update!!! Got my flight arranged. Singapore air LAX to Bali via Tokyo/ Singapore. Flying out Sat 4 Oct, get there 6 Oct. Return Fri eve at about 8pm, 17th Oct, same route, arrive LAX 18 Oct. So I will NOT be needing that room in Bali for the 17th after all. Sending details in updated survey soon.

Considering how crazy this has been, minor mistakes are not surprising. You left me off the Nitrox list!!!

That was me...I was so overwhelmed at this trip filling out in less than 24 hours and then so frustrated at the issues with paypal (by the way...thank you all for emailing me your payment advices...that saved the day) and then on top of it all trying to resolve male/female rooming issues in each category of rooms was very tedious.

I am very sorry about not capturing all the nitrox details correctly. We'll do the clean up with doc receipts and nitrox etc in the next day or so.

PLEASE look at the first post and make sure we have everything captured correctly! Thank you!

ALSO...if you are arriving early or staying later...PLEASE LET US KNOW SO I CAN BOOK YOU ROOMS ACCORDINGLY! -ww

Hey Victoria I am confirming that we can get the last premium select room at the resort! As soon as I know its yours! Does this mean you want a single room or are you bringing someone to room with?

Go ahead and send in your deposits. As soon as I have them I should know if we get the extra room. If we don't I will cancel your deposit if via paypal or credit card or return your check if you send it that way. I would suggest paypal or credit card since this trip is based upon signing up and payment. If either is delayed you could lose the spots.

Replying to your pm to kamala...I only check that once in awhile...using wreckwench gets things to me faster.

p.s. it took 2 days for a check to make it to me from Ft Worth...across town so I'm sure it will take a bit longer from CO. As soon as I get it we'll let you know.

Quick update and advice on flights.

Check into surcharges etc if using miles. I booked directly yesterday with Singapore Air from LAX using miles transferred from Amex membership miles. Got online redemption discount of 15%, so only used 60,000 miles RT. But got socked with $338 in fees/ surcharges when ticketed. No, this does not include any AMEX charges!! After a long call to Singapore air, I am told that $318 of that is fuel surcharges supposedly charged by the Singapore airport... NOT Singapore airlines (yeah right!!!). Yet Karen booked exactly the same RT flight on Singapore Airlines but went through USAIR using her miles with them. Don't know how many miles she used, but she only paid $40!!! in fees. The Singapore airline rep swears that everyone gets charged the $318 surcharge. I doubt that if it is not included in the ticket costs.

So be careful and verify all your charges very carefully. Maybe, we do need to verify that there will not be a surprise $300 fee at Singapore airport... I think that is highly unlikely but....

At the very least Singapore airlines may have lost a customer.
