So what exactly makes someone a GREAT "Cabana Boy"? After spending a week with a truly wonderful cabana boy my list has been refined! :-D However I think it would be of more value to compile a composite list from our members since we seem to have so many trips on SingleDivers.com where the women out number the men...hence designating the men on the trip as "Cabana Boys"!

So what makes a 'great cabana boy'???

First off I :cool1: men who set a good example and get others to follow them! And secondly I love 'cabana boys'! :tears:

Curacao Women 5
Curacao Men 2

I have to say, speaking of cabana boys, the wench and I are somewhat spoiled now after our, er, experiences with one in belize last week...thanks to scubaski! :wakawaka:

Well WW you had to know I would reply to this topic! :-)

Hmmmm a great Cabana Boy... OK, just a few off the top of my head:

Desire, enthusiasm and ability to always keep a fresh cold drink in my hand - without having to ask.

Willingness to apply sunscreen to those hard to reach areas at all times during sun-up hours.

Willingness to apply anti-mosquito spray to those hard to reach areas at all times during sun-down hours.

Available to hold a purse, bag etc. while I dig/search for some misplaced item in another purse, bag etc. because I’m carrying too much ‘stuff’.

Oh very important - constant vigilance against potential photographic evidence if I’ve had a few too many drinks and begin to believe I really can do that complicated dance move! :cool2:

The list goes on but I'll let the other ladies chime in...

attentiveness, good attitude, anticipation of needs, are all good attributes in a cabana boy...but perhaps a speedo to dress them in??? Guess it depends on the individual... :birthday:

You know...the guys can and should chime in as well!

Sometimes they know what we need better than we do!

In fact until last week...I was quite happy with a cabana boy just being there....NOW I have a few more desires for one after scubaski spoiled us! :tears:

So come on guys...you can chime in as well...

WHAT MAKES A GREAT CABANA BOY/MAN????

Oh girl..... :o I am going to have to disagree with you on that one... Speedo's just don't do it for me... they kind of 'un' do it for me! :D Or better yet - you can have for your personal service any Cabana Boys wearing speedos.

I'll take mine in board shorts (Billabong is my personal fav) :P or any regular not 'too-short' shorts.

Shirtless is always nice too if we're getting specific, although not a requirement - just an added perk!

I agree with ScubaStacy on the speedos... let's go for board shorts. :o My cabana boy would have to be able to carry all of my stuff and provide me with around the clock drink service. :D

:tears:

ah a woman after my own heart (onthe billabong shorts atleast)

sorry on the shirtless part as I have a some scars on my stomach i dont feel like showing off, so the reef shirt is gonna have to suffice.

Also what about a slick set of oakley sunglasses?
