Hi, my first time posting on this site. Am interested in doing a dive trip in February. Have only dived one other time when I got my open water certification in Curacao in February 2008. Would this trip work for me in terms of my limited experience?

Yes, this is great diving for you! Should be calm waters with little or no current, and the wall dives are great! Also, with all the SD members who will be going, it will be a great way for you to gain experience while diving with people you'll get to know if you participate in the forums, so you'll be more comfortable.

While you're at it, go to the "New to SingleDivers.com" forum and post an introduction, so we can all start getting to know you better. Welcome!

If I can get the vacation time approved, I'm in for this one.

Is this trip a go? Am I safe to book the airfare now? The airfares are really good for me right now.

Yes trip is a go...for airfare you need to arrive by 5p for the shuttle to the boat (or you can get a private taxi but not sure how late that night you can arrive and still make the boat...will check) and you can not depart earlier than noon on the 21st. Some people are already talking about arriving a day early in SJU to make sure they are there in time.

I am working on getting this and Fiji posted next. Just need to stay dry long enough to do it! :birthday:

Great Jeff...that gets you on the notification list when the details are finalized. As for the boat...it will be the newly upgraded Pilot...new carpet, ac's fixed, etc. I have a full summary of the changes I will post as soon as I can find it in my email again!

Until the trip is open for booking, its 0-0. The ratio won't be known until people actually start putting money down..
