Please add me to the list of people who are interested in the trip, but can't yet commit. I'd like the free Nitrox option please!

I haven't been on a liveaboard before, but have dived in Key Largo. Are liveaboards more able to avoid rough seas? I use a seasickness patch and that works great for me (except on a long rough ride out to the W.E. Hutton Wreck in North Carolina when I did get queasy...). Does anyone have information about the potential roughness of the seas on this trip?

Thanks!

I'll put you on the interested list. Hopefully one of the guys who have been on this boat can fill you in on the roughness of the sea.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Spoke with EWY airport officials and it seems only Delta has a (1) bag restriction because of the type of equipment they fly into Key West. American does not as they fly a bigger plane. I can not vouch for other flights. So I'm booking my ticket to Key West today...its $319 including all taxes and that is the same price as flying to Miami or other parts of Florida. So since I am now doing 3 trips in May due to the reschedule of the Fiji trip...I now can not spend any extra days in Florida like I had hoped doing the Keys Krawl.

So I'll just be boring and fly in and out for this trip. I will miss driving with Jeff aka sparky103 and Ray aka Latitude Adjustment...they were the BEST drive buddies last year! :cool1:

And I'm REALLY going to miss doing the Keys Krawl with everyone. :-D

Well if Punky is going, I've got to go! (Free Nitrox is a given.)

Put my check in the mail today. :wakawaka:

Now are we going to have a "Keys Krawl" down and back? I'm in! Margaret? Jim/Jim? Beth? Babs? Zach? Anyone else?

Hey all! I am going to try to make this one! It's past time to splash with SD! :-D

If a person drives to Key West, is there free parking near the MV Spree?

Define Secure. The boat dock is in a shipyard with a night watchman. If by secure do you mean that you can lock it in a garage, no. If you mean can you leave it in the parking lot at the boat on private property, yes. Yes, we will have a place to ship your gear. We use the UPS store. The address to the boat is:

M/V Spree
1107 Key Plaza #157
Key West, FL 33040

Your gear can be shiped back home from the same place. We will pick it up for you, and squire you back for drop off.
