I will have airfare options shortly. Seems we can fly on our pkg rates for LESS via LA or SFO even though the scheduled rates show slightly better out of NY. I will have ALL rates so we can decide on a group contract. Thank you! kamala

Can you check the best fare flying out of Chicago, group rate or not?

This air consolidator can do 'add-on's from major cities. So I will check CHI for you! kamala

Kamala,

As we discussed in Boniare, if my Raja Ampat trip doesn't work out, this one is definitely on my radar.

Please put me on the interested list.

Miracle of Miracles it almost like you created this trip just for me as it matches up with a vacation I have. Put me down on the going list!

Hee! Hee! It was the only time I had other than Thanksgiving and they did not have turkey day open. The trick is early departure due to int'l timezones.

Please tell me how early you can leave and when you need to return if anyone has date limitations in making this work. We can make it a 10 day trip or a hard 7 day trip. Trying to figure out what is best. k

If I make this trip, which I expect to, I would opt for the 10 day option. If it was a 7 day trip, I would look at the option of adding a second week on the boat, either before or after. It doesnt matter either way. Ed

Arrive one day early (just in case luggage was behind), and leave the same day the boat is back.

At the moment I have some flexibility on dates, but budget will ultimately have to determine the length of my trip. Seven days is more probable for me, but I'm still open...(it's still more than seven, more like nine days anyway if you consider the length of the trip from NYC, no?

Kamala,

I'd definitely vote for the 10 day option. If I'm going to travel half way around the world, five diving days is too short. If you decide to do 7 days, I may opt for an extra week as Bill (ScubaTex) said.

Seven days would probably be better for me since I am doing the red sea, want to do Turks and Caicos, and still need to visit my folks in Ghana. Have to save some time to work!!!! For the folks who want to stay longer, couldn't we offer both options? Or would it be too much of a hassle.

Given we have such a split we may NEED to figure out how to offer both. That was why I raised the question. The only drawback will be we won't get as good of an air rate if we don't have everyone leaving the same day...and I'm limited in that I get back from the Halloween trip on Nov 1st and then some of the itins I've seen have me leave Nov 2nd and I have to go to DEMA Nov 17th and some of the Itins have me return Nov 16th.

As you can see I can't squeeze all of that in for myself. So I will have to do the 7 or 8 day only version that several of you also are limited by.

Thank you for the input...I will work to structure this so ALL of us can get what we need...shorter or longer trip. Thank you! kamala
