Hi fellow divers!

I just signed up for this trip.  I dove for 23 years with my ex and have been divorced 3 years.  I didn't realize how much I would miss diving.

Look forward to talking with you all!

Hi fellow divers!
I just signed up for this trip.  I dove for 23 years with my ex and have been divorced 3 years.  I didn't realize how much I would miss diving.
Look forward to talking with you all!

Greetings Seacorral and welcome to Single Divers and the Best of Mexico trip! Cozumel: Easy to get to, easy diving, and the biggest fish in the ocean; going to be a great trip. Single Divers is a great way to meet new friends and fellow divers. While some of us know each other from other trips, and some of us have created amazing relationships with divers from other trips; all of us look forward to meeting new friends on a Single Divers trip.. While I have been diving in some amazing places with this group; it is actually the people that make the trips exceptional.

So Welcome to you (and everyone else on this trip). If you have any questions, just ask. Being a veteran of 3 Single Divers trips over the last three years, I won't have the right answers; but we'll find someone who does.

Thank you starshark. I started my diving in cozumel 26 years ago. I haven't been diving there since, so looking forward to revisiting and trying it again. I've been diving many places around the world but love the caribbean the best. I look forward to meeting everyone and making new dive buddies because we are the only one's who can share the most unique experiences from underwater sitting around a dinner table sipping a nice drink. ;)

And thank you wreck wench for making me feel so welcome!

That was the ENTIRE point of the club...to make everyone feel :welcome:  I was a military kid and hated moving all the time being the 'new kid' and never knowing anyone. SO we do a LOT of things to help people feel welcome BEFORE the trip and certainly DURING the trip!  :cool1:

So we are off to a good start!  :wakawaka:

But we couldn't do it without are AWESOME MEMBERS!!! And as you can see...they jump in to make others feel welcome as well!

And trust me...its ALL FOR PURELY SELFISH REASONS.... read HERE to find out why!  ;)

Hello Shelia, I was part of our group that celebrated New Years Day in Cozumel a few months ago. As I recall the rental fins are the strap kind as it is easier and cheaper than maintaining a variety of slip on sizes. :unhappy: Be sure your rental gear and other diving or other special needs are included in the "Special Accommodations" form of the the Booking System's Documents under "TRIPS" -> "MY TRIPS" -> select Best of Mexico from the dropdown list -> click the link on the right side for "Special Accommodations and Rental Gear". Check the boxes of the gear you will need and in the "Other Gear" text box note sizes for BC. (Note your slip on fins request and size also, we maaaaay be able to arrange something with the operator OR someone else on the trip may have a spare slip on set in your size.)

Oh and be sure to complete the other documents (Insurance, itinerary, room survey, dive survey, etc.) so we at SingleDIvers.com are ready and able to take your dive experience that higher level of fun and stress free satisfaction we are famous for providing! :teeth:

Oh dang. Everywhere I've been had started using slip ons and I stopped using my dive boot/fin combo. I guess I'll need to buy a new pair.

Also, can you answer my question about divers insurance? Never heard of that. The forms imply I need to get it?
