EARLY BOOKING DISCOUNT UPDATE:

 

Because of a technical glitch in getting the newsletter out for August we have extended the Early Booking Discounts until Aug 15th for the best discounts.

Since I am probably the only person arriving three days early, I don't need to boat dive on that one day when I'm the only person from the group at the hotel. Even if there are other divers at the hotel, I would prefer to shore dive (multiple times) on that first day. Maybe I can find the resident bat fishies before the group arrives.

 

When the next group of early arrivals (people arriving 2 days early) are ready to boat dive, I'll go with them too.

Hello Sally, the correct dates for Week Two are 03 - 10 June 2017 (Saturday to Saturday). The dates above are acutally from the 2016 trip; I fear The Wench copied the original to use as a template but missed updating the dates.

Gabrielle that is my fault - I have been on vacation in South Florida and had intended to add you and others who have paid in to the trip to the "Who's Going" list in Post #3. I really want to go on this trip but I can't miss my nephew's college graduation, so I'm prayingarsg I'll know tomorrow.  Do you know if people are finding airfares at better rates if adding extra days?  I will want to do a garden view, dbl occupany, whale tour, etc.  Will keep you posted.

Yes sometimes the fares are better if you add a few days...of course that is offset by the hotel expenses which are always steeper because you take a few days out of someone staying the whole week.

 

And of course we'd LOVE for you to join us!

Since we try to bring items to donate to one of the local schools, it would be helpful to have some idea of the items they need, want, could use, don't need, etc.

 

Between now and next May, there will be a multitude of clearance sales of almost everything, so why not plan ahead and buy a little bit at a time.

For example, this past weekend a local store had a sale on pencils, a new pack of 12, for 23 cents per package. A local thrift shop sometimes has school supplies to sell  in bulk for cheap, but what types of items does the school need that is small enough to be carried in a suitcase?

 

My dentist will donate a handful of new toothbrushes, but is this something they could use, or would even want?

What about basic first aid supplies?

I have a question about the last ocean view single occupancy room you have left for May 27th to June 3rd.  Would it be available to a couple and if so how do I enter that in the booking portal?  I am a diver and my wife is a non diver.
