Everyone is doing great! Brad you’re welcome to join - thanks for cheering us on.

This week I managed almost 70K in steps, 3 sets of 25 wall pushups per day (up from 20 per rep), 2 days of abs and 2 sessions of yoga.

might have to reduce the wall pushups, as I’ve tweaked an old rotator cuff injury

have a great week everyone!

Sharon

RUTRO On the rotator cuff. I hope it does not require a doctor's visit. What do you usually do when this happens?

WOW on the steps...that is INSANE!!!

After dealing with a couple of life altering issues in 2019 and 2020, I started exercising back in December.  After seeing how bad my air consumption was on the Roatan trip in January, I increased the exercise.  Although I didnt really notice much improvement for about 3 months, I stuck with it with the inspiration of the Get Fit post that Kamala started in Feb.  I did notice decent air consumption improvement on a Feb trip to the Bahamas, and definitely saw the benefits while on my just ended Galapagos trip.  Air was much better.  It was easier getting into the boat.  I handled the currents easier, while holding a large camera.  Stick with it.  You will appreciate the benefits while on your trip next year.  Ed

Hi all!

my rotator is an old injury - it tore about 15 years ago and wasn’t diagnosed until it was past the surgery point. Rest usually helps when I tweak it. It’s feeling better this weekend.

here’s my report to the end of yesterday for the week:

58K in steps

3 days of 3 reps of 20 wall pushups

1 yoga session

happy April everyone!

Hi all - although I think it’s only myself and scubastar posting. How is everyone else doing?

last two weeks progress - 66K and 55K each week. Added back 3 sets of 20 wall pushups with 20 squats in between - 5 days each week. Completed 4 different dance workouts. Golfed twice this week - 18 an 10 holes.

we’re in lockdown once again in Ontario (up in Canada). Honestly, it’s pretty exhausting and doesn’t help when things started to open such as golf, and immediately got locked down. For those not locked down - please enjoy an extra activity, even if it’s a meal or drink on a restaurant patio for me!

cheers!

Sharon

Glad to see others are back!!

My results for last week - 58K of steps, 4 days of 3 reps of 20 wall push ups and 3 reps of 20 squats

Since we are still on lockdown/stay at home orders - do arm curls with my wine glass count??

Have a good week everyone!

Sharon
