It looks like all the discounts are rebates not coupons.  Is this correct or did I miss it somewhere?

YES they are rebates.  No money in this trip so nothing to give people. Other than a chance to win a free gift or small discount if do both days. I have a ton of risk because I have an 11 day reservation so everyone has to do 11 days meaning half of everyone going needs to do an extra day the 31st or the 1st in order for the group rate to work.

NOTE: I am doing the 0-5 topics now and have decided to manage like we do when we have 2 weeks in one location. Each is separate for booking purposes but we only set up one set of topics for them and give them 2 booking links. Thank you!

NOTE: I think because the trip is close and its so weird anyway... since tanks are an option and each trip has an under $1000 price lets NOT do any deposit just full payment.

I fixed the tank problem.  (It twas a SKU Issue)

 

 

The artifacts of the problems booking Kamala:

-  Kamala you are booked - But all the text for the actual Grouper part say Florida Manatees becasue we reused the trip.  Additionally the trip costs will be off, but obviously won't matter since you are in the sandbox.

- Your tank package for the Groupers is listed under trip T-FLL-1-TA

- Your tank package for the Sharks is listed under trip FLL-2-22-T

 

The booking page let me book them, but then gave a red error at the top.

2nd Problem with how things are set up:

 

If someone (a local) goes and books just the free BHB shore dives.  The booking system lets them do it, it shows up in the orders in Hika.  BUT since they signed up without being on a trip, there is no connection to the trip roster.  SO the order basically vanishes from view.  

 

SO I am not sure how to find these people so that you know they are signed up.

3rd Problem.

 

I guess, Ed and Steve must have been given the booking links to book despite the issues not being solved..  So they booked while I was working on it.

 

Steve has booked a nitrox tank package for the Groupers.  However, it is listed under trip T-FLL-1-TA as well as yours.  

However, when he booked the Shark package I had already fixed it (or at least was in the middle of fixing it) when he booked that one, so it does appear under the correct trip.

 

(Ed hasn't booked any tanks package yet)

 

Of note:  I also booked myself on this trip to test it (in the sandbox) but I am not going... but I needed someone to test it on to make sure I fixed it.

4th Problem (as discovered by Steve)

 

The extra night hotel package is confusing as they appear in both trips.  In the real world, it likely doesn't matter which one they book because you will just get them a room.  I don't think we should remove them from either trip otherwise you run the risk of them disappearing like the BHB free dives.

 

However, you might want to tell people that it doesn't really matter which one they book... And since they aren't supposed to be able to book until they talk to you anyway it should work out.
