I am just trying to get by until retirement :teeth: I have done far too many things to list here, but I did serve in BOTH hte Navy and Army. I found out that not that many people need submarines re[aired in the civilian world and not too many need an old infantryman/tanker. So now I do marine surveys (when I can get them), do some grilling at festivals and catered events, and even drive atruck to fill in. I thinbk I am going to have go back on the road sometime next month for four or five months, but I think I have a good contract lined up (home every night and off on weekends).

Diverbrian - I worked on 637 class SSN's - what were you on?

My first one was a decomissioning tour. That was the USS Sculpin (SSN 590). I believe that it was a Skipjack class sub.

My second sub was the USS Providence (SSN 719). This was a second flight 688 boat. I did my nuclear prototype in Ballston Spa, NY on the prototype plant for the Ohio class missile subs.

I am a Biomedical Equipment Service Technician, which means I repair and maintain some large and not so large, automated and non-automated chemistry analyzers for a major health care organization. I don't do too much with the chemistry, thank god for the lab techs. I usually deal with the electronics, robotics and mechanics of the instrument.

I'm the Expediter for the Naval Air Warfare Center which is a catch all job title, basically I do some database management and a lot of trouble shooting making sure things happen when they should.
And then there is the last line of my job description "and other duties as may be required.", none of those ever involve diving :dltears:
I, Latitude Adjustment (insert log in name), do hereby swear, (politely), that I shall not hold SingleDivers, (SD), nor any SD poster, (real or imagined), liable, nor shall I seek legal restitution, (real or imagined), for any perceived, (real or imagined), offenses I may incur, (or Incurrrrrrrrrr on talk like a pirate day), that may or may not be posted on this or any SCUBA related board, (real or imagined), by anyone, (real or imagined), anywhere, (real or imagined). Further, I void any right to privacy, (real or imagined), as it may, or may not relate to any posting, (real or imagined), about me, to me, for me, because of me, all about me, my dog, my cat, my bird, my monkey, my family, (real or imagined), my friends, (real or imagined), or my world, (real or imagined).

By all that is wet, I do hereby swear, (politely), and attest, upon pain of never diving again, (real or imagined), that I understand and affirm, that I agree to the above.

I do corporate financial, operational, and strategic planning and analysis. This includes everything from doing the annual plan and budget to writing business plans for new ventures, mergers/acquisitions/divestitures, plant closures, pricing, contracts, capital, etc.

So let me get this straight ... not only are you a lawyer, but you defend insurance companies, too?
