i didn't dive then, but st croix had most of the criteria and good diving. i really didn't think paris was all that, and even went on a honeymoon. come to think of it, st croix was one, too. gotta quit getting married and just go on vacations...
Well said!!! I got married in Hawaii, on Maui, overlooking the Pacific, couldn't have been more romantic--the marriage was a disaster. I've always liked Paris, though.
I've never found the French or the Parisiennes to be rude. St. Croix is a great place. Cane bay wall is one of my favorite dives.

As for the most romantic places, I agree with Walter that it can be (almost) anywhere when you're with the right person. I found Tavernier Key and Koh Phi Phi, Thailand, to be two of the most romantic places for me but it was because of the dive buddy I was with.
Now get out here and dive Jamie (and reveal your intentions)!

I dated a Parisienne for about six months. If she wasn't smokin' hot I wouldn't have tolerated more than one date with her. Rude, arrogant (about what I'll never know ... she's French - she should be apologetic), abrupt. I'm still friendly with here but every time I talk to her I'm thankful that I don't have to put up with her b.s. anymore. Can't live with 'em and they won't fit in the food processor.i didn't dive then, but st croix had most of the criteria and good diving. i really didn't think paris was all that, and even went on a honeymoon. come to think of it, st croix was one, too. gotta quit getting married and just go on vacations...

Isn't that something? I've always found Germans much more rude than the French and I worked there for several years. And I haven't found the English to be that friendly either. Spanish, French and Italians, though, for me, always most obliging and helpful.
Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

If the young lady on your profile pic is the other party in the spoken for but buddyless category, then that would make her spoken for but buddyless (even though it appears she is wearing a wetsuit)
Therefore, the question is:
Why isn't she on the board and better yet, a premier member??
Is anybody else curious or am I just that damn nosey??
