Oh no, you did not just go there Jamie....

But rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming--"WOW--What a ride!"

Hey! I didn't wanna! WW and Yoda made me!!

Sorry if I ruined the whole hellish split-fin experience for you all though.

1. Standard Scuba Gear (suggest non-split fins in case you need to swim against any current...often slight but sometimes noticeable!)

Grrrrrrrrr ..... split fins .... agent of the devil!

Roughly the equivalent of .... oh, never mind - I'll get moderator action for sure!

jamie....you know I care...and respect ya bra.....BUT....I have been diving with splits my entire (short lived :o ) scuba career...after what I heard you say I did a demo on some mares power volos. I LOVE SPIT TWINS! granted I really dont know the current issue involved...but dude!! My twin jets feel like extentions of my feet! So easy. IMHO

My toenails are an extension of my feet, too, but that doesn't help me get any traction when I'm chasing down a turtle or a spotted eagle ray. I'm looking for something that will translate leg power into speed when I need it. Try this experiment next time you're in the pool: swim one lap with your hand in the standard swim position (slightly cupped), then swim another with your fingers spread out. Which one moves you through the water better? Sure, that water might feel kinda neat going between your fingers, but what are you really getting accomplished? I'm all about results, my brotha!
