Ok got a question for the gals...how do you feel when you get flowers from a secret admirer?

Can you usually tell who sent them?
Do you like not knowing and wondering if its every guy that contacts you?
Do you wish that they would at least leave you a clue as to who they might be?
Do you like just knowing someone cares about you...even if you have no idea who it is?
Have you ever called the florist to see if they will tell you who sent them?
Do you spend too time worrying about who sent them to you?

Inquiring blondes want to know! And oh yes...I did get a lovely bouquet of flowers today from a secret admirer...or at least someone who did not sign the card. :anna: The card was lovely...it read:

Roses are Red
Violets are Blue
Speaking of flowers...
These are for you!

And yes...I did try to call the florist to see who sent them...all they would tell me is the sender requested to be anonymous and was from out of state...but would not tell me anything more. And I had to pull teeth to get the 'out of state' part.

I just like flowers. I'll take them any way I can get them!

It'd be nice to know who they came from, but I wouldn't stress about it.

Why just the gals? Guys like flowers, too. I got a spectacular bouquet at work one time from my sweetie and it was one of the most romantic things that ever happened to me..

Enjoy the flowers and the sense of the unknown. Besides, if the person ever becomes a stalker, at least the florist has the information

No, splutter, not me.............

In case you haven't noticed, Round Rock is not "out of state", blonde one.

And you need to be sending ME something, not the other way around.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

But they could be from Mandrake. He is "out of state" in more ways than one....

I think flowers are nice when least expected. But the arrangement should require some thought. If you really want to know, call the florist back and insist on knowing.

While I worked as a diver at Sea World, I had to supplement my income with a second job: CSR at Proflowers.com. We had a strict policy against revealing any information about the sender of flowers, though in many cases it was just an oversight in which the sender forgot to fill out the card. Often, people got very irate when we told them we couldn't reveal any info about the sender unless the recipient filed a police report (we couldn't even say whether the sender was from out of state or not, so Kamala, be thankful you at least got that, LOL).

With all of the cheaters out there, the possession of information about the sender and his/her orders was a power that had to be used very cautiously, lest marriages be destroyed. (All moral judgments aside, we didn't want to be the ones responsible for letting the cat out of the bag.) It was a very interesting job... especially around Valentine's Day and Mother's Day. Amazing how emotional people get over flowers.

Not to mention, there was at least one case here in California where a man successfully sued a hotel for letting his wife into the hotel room where he was with someone else. The company does have potential liability.

If someone sent a woman flowers in Canada, first they'd check to see if she'd passed away.

And if she hadn't, they'd check to see if she'd just graduated from elementary school.

And if neither of those had occurred, they'd check to see if they'd been delivered to the wrong address.
