Getting flowers is always nice. Although, I am such a curious person, that it would kill me to not know who they are from... :respect:

With all of the cheaters out there, the possession of information about the sender and his/her orders was a power that had to be used very cautiously, lest marriages be destroyed. (All moral judgments aside, we didn't want to be the ones responsible for letting the cat out of the bag.) It was a very interesting job... especially around Valentine's Day and Mother's Day. Amazing how emotional people get over flowers.

Not to mention, there was at least one case here in California where a man successfully sued a hotel for letting his wife into the hotel room where he was with someone else. The company does have potential liability.

'tis a very different legal world you live in down there, my fine neighbours...

Ok one for the 'I wish I knew who sent them' category...

and we have one or two from the 'just enjoy them' category...

Minor moment of continued thread jacking...

Sad but true isn't it? I am afraid to admit that the soccer mom one is from up here but I have to say that the Human Rights Tribunal in BC is simply a gathering place for the most bizzare and (most of the time) frivilous claims you have ever seen! Some of the stuff that our office has had to defend is SHOCKING!!

And yes...I did try to call the florist to see who sent them...all they would tell me is the sender requested to be anonymous and was from out of state...but would not tell me anything more. And I had to pull teeth to get the 'out of state' part. :respect:

Hmmm... is this somehow connected to your other thread about long-distance relationships?

Well, as previously mentioned in the thread, how could anyone help but admire the Wench?

Hmmm... is this somehow connected to your other thread about long-distance relationships?

Naw... :2cool: that thread was about how many long distance relationships were forming on OUR site...and how I sorta envied them since my personal experience had not been as successful as I would have liked!

In this case...I really did get flowers from a secret admirer...and I really have no idea who they are from. :welcome:

Talk about wild...I got another bouquet of flowers late yesterday as well...but in this case the sender gave me a clue as to who he was... :cool1:

July 12th will go into the history books as the day I got two bouquets of flowers from two different men (well I think they are different) and its not a holiday nor my birthday! :respect:

p.s. thanks cmt489! Its so nice to have your efforts noticed.

But the question remains...how do the gals feel about getting flowers from someone totally anonymously???

And how do the guys feel about sending flowers TOTALLY anonymously??? Aren't you worried we'll think they came from someone else???? :respect:

I made the mistake of thanking the wrong person for some beautiful roses I got one time...a "secret admirer" got me in a lot of trouble. :respect:

I would never send flowers totally anonymously. That would be just TOO weird. No monkey business like that. If I sent flowers without putting my name on the note, I'd make sure she would know they were from me in some way.
