Ok...when you all going...I WANNA GO! How do you get there from New Mexico? As a matter of fact....Anybody know how you get anywhere from New Mexico? Let me know what you plan for this weekend adventure and possible I can make it. Probably fly into Dallas huh?

Hey Diverlady and Blublood, your both more than welcome to catch a flight into Dallas and I'm sure there would be no problem with someone coming to get you there. On the dates I haven't set anything as of yet, but I'm looking at the calendar on this. I'll try and throw out a few different dates and see what works for everyone wanting to go.

Hey Warren, Athens is here in Texas.. however I wish I could have meant Greece. How much fun that would be, but too far to go for only a weekend..

Either way all is welcome to come and join in on the fun!

Sounds good but it would probably be easier if I just grabbed a car. It does depend on the weekend though...lots of trips planned already! But if the date you choose works I would sure love to come. If anybody else wants to fly in for the weekend I could just rent a vehicle and drive them out also.

Hey BluBlood....pm Dejah with the dates you CAN'T do it. In fact...if anyone who wants to go and lives within this part of the US...LOL!!! can't do a specific date, please PM Dejah so she can find a date that most of us can do! Hey girl...and I'll help.

As for picking you up at the airport...I'll pick you up if you don't drive and we'll drive to Athens together or carpool with a bunch of other folks.

Sounds great! I need to lok on my calender at the office but can tell you I am for sure not available the first two weekends in May....Unfortunatly I will be in Cozumel.....What a bummer LOL ......I wont be in the office tommorow as I have to golf...double bummer! but I think I am available most of the other weekends....except this next one 'cause I will, of course, be in Key Largo.... Triple Bummer! LOL....hope this works out 'cause it sounds like great fun. I checked out the web site for Athens and it looks like a great place to go and enjoy a day...even if it is in Texas! (jus kiddin!)

Hey B2B, thanks for posting the pic's of Athens Scubapark and the link and I totally agree with Wreck Wench, please PM me some dates of weekends in April / May that you cannot come and we'll pick a date which will hopefully suit everyone..

I talked to Dejah last night and she is working on collecting dates that people can't do. I can't do the 17/18 of April as that is a HUGE Crawfish Boil sponsored by local dive clubs in the area and it is a blast...not to mention great food. The weekend before is Easter and taxes. The only other weekend I can't do it is Memorial Day. So I'm open the second half of April and most of May.

It will be fun...I know the owner of Athens VERY well so I'll ask him to help do something special for us!

I was responding to the trip to Athens or Clear Springs. However if Athens is warmer I vote for Athens.

Thanks Dejah! Honestly I have been getting such a kick out of bragging about all the fun stuff I have been doing, and am going to do this year..

So is this gonna be a day trip or a two dayer? Im gone the weekends of May 1st and May8th.

also the weekend of the 17 of April would be tough. other than that I should be able to slip away...................
