I was thinking in 9 days, but I could come both if the diving is right! :P

9 days from now, I might be on a cruise. A friend has been trying to talk me into taking a cruise out of Port Canaveral that week. I told her I'd make a decision about that in the next couple of days. I'm trying to wrap up a couple of major projects so I can enjoy more free time again. :o

I PMd you as well. Since we are engaged now (LOL), I thought it might be nice if we knew each other's name. :hugs: Mine is Gabrielle.

Ok, I'm fexible. Just let me know when you decide. Are there other SD divers out your way? Maybe we could set up a small HH. I'll buy the first and all prime number rounds. (I had to keep the geek thread going as well.)

Hmmm... have I missed something during my exchange with dear Caetllonn? Moose and SunshineDiver are engaged sight unseen. Wow, I guess this site really works! Oh, wait... didn't WW tell me this isn't a dating site (what a shame, but it must be true... I haven't had a date on it yet).

At tradeshows we say 'We are NOT a dating site'. However if you get lucky it is not our fault. And if you don't get lucky it is DEFINITELY not our fault! :o

So whatever happens it is NOT our fault! :hugs:

I'll fly down there on the 12th and fly home on the 14th. Can you set up a dive for the 13th locally? Also, let me know when to stay when I'm in town, (whatever town in FL it is)?

Yeah... WHERE in Florida ?

I have a bike race on the 14th, but I can go diving on the 12th or 13th. I suppose I could help arrange a happy hour somewhere on the 13th, but I would not be able to attend. But this all depends......

WHERE in Florida ?

...the most important thing you can do is to be yourself.

EXACTLY!!!

No, THAT's the problem. I always try to be myself and that's what scares the women away (well, that and the fangs, right, Caetllonn?).

Wow! You know I've been trying to talk some of my goth friends into taking up scuba and the sissies are all so worried about bursting into flames from the sun. Maybe you can give them some advice..... :birthday:

Well, I'm darned proud of MY fangs! There are just pronounced enough to be a conversation starter, but generally not big enough to really scare away too many women. Well, except on nights of full moons when they tend to elongate a "wee" bit.

Hmmm, we have very few goths out here on Catalina Island so I don't know too much about them.

I would assume that they all already use SPF 666 when going out in the daylight.

Stop laughing.

It does exist and SPF 666 sells like crazy.

Oh - they don't leave home without it. FYI - Salt water is murder on sunscreen...I had to give up being goth and reinvent myself....

Shadragon's Personal Code of Dance Floor Conduct

If she has a ring on her finger then she is off limits and I would never ask unless we are friends and we both understood ahead of time it is just for dancing. If her guy was there I would ask him if he minded first. If not, she can make her own decision.

No ring, she is fair game but just to cover the bases if I knew she was with someone and he was in the area I would ask if he minded in front of her. If he was not or I didn't know if she was taken I would ask her to dance. She can make up her own mind to say "Yes" or "No".

If a lady asks me to dance, then ring or not I would be happy too. That is quite complimentary and it is just dancing after all. It is a public dance floor and regardless of her situation she would be treated with respect.

No slow dances unless she was unattached...
