the info I read about Ryanair was on CNN.com and said it would be for flights less than an hour. Sounds like we will all need to bring plastic trash bags to sit on pretty soon :lmao:

In the event of a forced landing in water, your seat cushion may not be used as a flotation device. Because it is already soaked.

The discussion since my warning has all completely been within the TOS.

So I apologize to all for causing the two posts that were not in compliance. :lmao:

I don't see how my post was out of line... it made no mention of politics as I think there are Wall Street speculators of all possible colors in the political spectrum.

funny thing about the toilet fee. A few years ago I was on a flight on a commuter plane that did not have a toilet on it. One of the female passengers had to pee. She had a cup from the beverage service, she stood up in the aisle, pulled down her pants, peed in the cup. Pulled up her pants. Sat down and rang the service button. When the flight attendant came, she gave her the cup of pee :lmao:

I kid you not....

Sounds like eventually it will be weight/mile model. Can't you just wait to have to get on the scale before boarding the plane?

All they are doing is make Southwest look more and more attractive. We just need them to fly to our dive destinations..

The thing is that the legacy carriers have been following suit with many of these fees and cut backs..

I agree I WISH that Southwest would fly to many dive destinations as well!!

The problem I think they will have is that if you have flown on smaller twin props, many have no overhead space, or maybe just enough for a jacket or very small bag. So what's to keep spirit from getting rid of the overhead space and forcing everyone to pay to gate check?
