IMPORTANT TRIP UPDATE:

This trip will open up in the next couple of days. Please make sure your premier memberships are updated or you upgrade to a premier membership. (Click on the membership tab across the top of the forums and follow the prompts to set up your subscription and then to pay!)

There are a very limited number of spots on this trip and we hope to sell it out early. Rather than have a full blown air contract that requires people to book the trip using it...we will have a micronesia pass that saves several hundred dollars and will let people book their own air or we'll book for you. (There was not enough difference in the contract air price and the regular price of air to take the risk of obligating ourselves to 10 spots on the contract.)

We will be going to Palau after Truk and you can do either Truk by itself or Truk and Palau together. You can stay a day in Hawaii or you can fly straight thru. Members can use the thread to see what others are doing. I know I will do both Truk and Palau with a layover in Guam but I am not sure if I'm going to stop in Hawaii along the way.

With the departure of Continental many of the flight options have gone away leaving us fewer choices at higher prices.

I will post current air routings as soon as I have them refreshed but air will be approx $1800-$2000 no matter how you do the trip.

As usual we'll honor a first posted and paid = first on the trip. Let us know if you are new and need any help in signing up. Kamala

So does this mean we will be doing our own air for the trip or just have some choices as to how we fly but booking would still be through SingleDivers.com? Thanks.

To get the Micronesia pass you'll need to book via us. We will book air for anyone who wants to go OR you can book for yourself and/or use miles etc.

Thanks. Sorry just trying to understand how it will work. So we're looking at two options:

1. Book trip through SingleDivers.com
2. Purchase Micronesia Pass through SingleDivers.com
3. Book Air fare through through SingleDivers.com


OR

2. Book airfare on our own with our choice of payment options

Yes I think that sums it up. I will give you routings you can use or we can book for you. In other words...basically ANYTHING GOES!!!

The only thing we *have* to help you with is the Micronesia Pass. The rest you can do yourself.

And, YES, you did read Fiji in 2015. 10 day liveaboard March 10-20, 2015, with a landbased option, too.

Don't believe you did Pascal. I'm also dying to hear any updates on this trip. I can't wait to see what costs are going to be so I can make the decision either way. (VERY much hoping I can swing it)

Patience, grasshopper...I'm fairly certain that Truk will be the next trip to open up, either before or after Dominica.

I have recalculated my vacation allowance. I will probably do the Truk Lagoon portion only, because it will take me forever to get there from Montreal. The goal would be to arrive 2-3 days before boarding the Truk Odyssey.



Is there any recommendable hotels in the area ? where I can sleep, perhaps do a check out dive, have a beer and taxi to the Truk Odyssey without flying ?



And yes, only about 500 emails can fill certain corporate mailboxes.
