Now Doug...why go all the way to the PNW when you can cut the distance in half...hit Texas and if it doesn't work out...still have plenty of options to work with???? Men...I just don't understand their logic...

Maybe he really likes Nicole. She's fun, she's passionate with her views, she's an active diver, she's intelligent, she's gorgeous, it's highly likely.

My problem is I'm looking for a diver who would like to live on a sailboat in the tropics, I may have a long long wait!

Case in point...and you guys complain that you always go on trips with all men...HA!!!  Check out the Saba trip...1 spot left and we have more women then men....Fiji...more women then men....Grenada....more women then men....see a trend here?????

and you conspire against me by planning all these trips for when i can't go on them.

My dearest Bradford...I have a number of trips for you...but dang your confounded work schedule! Send me the times you are most likely to be able to dive and lets work from that my dear! (Seriously!)

I think the last few posts have the point...it's often about geography. Florida and Texas will logically have more female divers because the dive opportunities are more plentiful (and, to be honest, warmer.......I think many females just don't like to be that dang cold...sorry to the northern guys).

Sadly, you'd think living in South Florida would afford us greater odds at finding a Long Term Dive Partner Unfortunately, I continue to manage to meet and date gentlemen who are (as Walter once put it) "geographically undesireable." Which, of course, leads nowhere.

Seems it's just as hard to find someone even in areas where there are divers on every street corner...........or maybe I just smell bad.

HA! I not only met them...dated them...got engaged...and STILL have nothing to show for it! Walter is right! (Gosh he just loves it when I say that!)

Ok does anybody know where as to one can find a Mermaid then? I retire in 2years and 10 months, got a job lined up in Cozumel doing what I like best .
I guess it has something to do with my bumper sticker; "My girlfriend said, "If I go diving one more time she will leave". I sure will miss her".

Actually, I had one for a little while that said "The more I learn about men, the more I'd rather be diving".


I had to remove it from my car though..........(long story behind that one).

Who needs money if you're already on a sailboat in the tropics? What would you be saving up for, retirement???? If I hadn't found my true love, I'd offer myself.

The only women that my boat has attracted are the kind I don't want.

The one I got now is the kind I do want - although she has told me in advance that if I manage to cack myself she's going to ignore the clause in my will that says I want to be set at the helm, the boat pointed towards "land not present for a very long distance", and then intentionally scuttled with me on board - dang lady wants the boat!
