To dive the impossible dive,
to swim the unswimmable flow,
to bear with unbearable doubbles,
to drift where the brave dare not drift...
To stride the unstrideable drop,
to dive pure and chaste from a boat,
to fin when your fins are too flimsy
to reach the unreachable depths!
This is my quest --
to follow that deepdive
no matter how hopeless,
no matter how far --
To fight for the right to dive
without question or pause,
to be willing to dive into hell
for a heavenly cause!
And I know
if I'll only be true
to this glorious dive
that my heart
will be peaceful and calm
when I'm laid to my rest.
And the world will be better for this
that one man, scorned and covered with scars,
still dove with his last ounce of courage
To reach the unreachable depths!

The Nitroxer always dives twice.
All that we see or seem is but a dive within a dream." (Edger Allen Poe
Those who dive by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dive only by night." (Edger Allen Poe)

Allow me to add to Hamlet's soliloquy on DCS....To dive or not to dive that is the question.....
To dive, or not to dive... that is the question.
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of DCS,
Or to take up an O2 bottle against a sea of troubles - and by opposing end them?
To dive... To sleep with the fishes... no more...
And by a sleep to say we end the bends, and the thousand nitrogen bubbles that flesh is heir to..
Tis a consummation devoutly to be wished!
To dive, to sleep with the fishes...
To sleep, perchance to dream.
Ay there's the rub, for in that sleep of DCS
What dreams may come when we have shuffled off this mortal regulator,
Must give us oxygen...
There's the respect that makes calamity of so long a dive.
For who would bear the whips and scorns of DCS, the oppressors wrong, the proud man's contumely?
The pangs of despised nitrogen, Boyle's law's delay?
The insolence of the DAN office,
And the spurns that patient merit of the unworthy takes,
When he himself might his quietus make - with a recompression chamber?
Who would steel 80s bear, to grunt and sweat under a weary life,
But that the dread of something after the dive,
The undiscovered country from whose reefs no traveller returns,
Narcs the will, and makes us bear those ills we have,
Than fin to others we known not of?
Thus narcosis doth make cowards of us all,
And thus the native hue of resolution is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of embolism;
And dive enterprises of great pith and moment,
With this regard, their rip currents turn awry
And lose the name of action.

Ring around the coral head, a pocket full of lead, giant stride, giatnt stride, we fall in.
Olly olly oxygen free.
