Hey Jennifer!
I thought of a couple of other bands that I think you'd really enjoy.
I've been a fan of Social Distortion for probably 20 years now, and they are one of the consistently good live shows I've ever seen. They were punks back in the day, and now it's just good guitar-chord fun. Try their live CD (I was at that show at the Roxy), and "White Light, White Heat, White Trash" but the new one's great, too "Sex, Love, and Rock and Roll."

Another great live band is the Young Dubliners. Celtic rock, although they've been steadily moving away from the "celtic" and more towards the "rock." I'd recommend starting with the CD "Red" and see what you think.

If you like the Donnas, you might also like Slunt (catchy name, huh?). I saw them as the opening band for Marilyn Manson last year and really liked them.

Also, just found out that the opening slot for Tool on this tour is Isis! Very cool prog-metal; think of a cross between Tool and Ministry and Deftones. Listen to 'em here:

Rock on!
Wow! The hits just keep on coming! Yes, The name "Slunt" is very catchy I'll definitely check out Young Dubliners. Two of my favorite bands are Irish (or Irish descent) Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly. I have not listened to Social Distortion in years! Thanks for the heads up!
Sunday the 13th was Ozzfest. Great bands, but way too damn HOT!! Loved Lacuna Coil, BTW. Also Atreyu and Black Label Society rocked. Disturbed was freaking amazing live!! System of a Down did not impress me though. Sound better on radio/CD.
