If anyone is interested, I got there a day early last year and did some touring. It was a full day with bicycling, an elephant ride, and whitewater rafting. You can do all three or pick one or two. PM me if you are interested. I'd be more than happy to share my experiences with you. Also got a driver on the last day in Bali and went to some interesting places, though I missed the monkey forest.

I tried & tried to work this trip into my budget & frequent flyer miles but as I am NOT getting a stimulus check couldn't manage the trip. However, I am doing a Bali only trip mid-August so I really hope a great trip report will be posted re your "land" adventures & dives so I have added info from reliable sources for my own adventure.
