I could offer assistance in that cave too....now that I am an expert in caves!

Although men may have a higher probability of trying to bed a date too soon, I've certainly met women who were "hot to trot" (heck, I don't even jog any more) within minutes. Except for very unusual circumstances, I would not consider going to bed with a woman until I felt I knew her well enough to be sure we'd have something meaningful to talk about after the hours of love making!

There are women I've gone to bed with immediately, but the situations were different. All but two were women I had known for a while (one for 25+ years). Not only are there the issues of establishing a relationship before sex, with the possibility of HIV and other SDS's, there are very serious things to consider.

I could have a woman giving me all of "the signs" that she was interested and she would still require a fin (not a jet fin please, as they are too heavy) to thump my upside the skull for it to sink in.  I am not rare.

I can completely relate. I've been out of the game for so long I just don't pick up on the signs!! I'm not expecting them so I don't look for them and they go right past me!!! :D

nobody told me i had to wear a sign.....hmmmmmmmmmm....

maybe we should all wear a sign...here's yours!
no really...i think it is very good point that neither sexes no what the other one is expecting. It's good to get imput from both sides. Now hopefully the divers at SD.com will be better equipped the next time we do go on a date. And by date...I do mean going out (with fellow SD members of course!!!)...not posting a thread!

Okay done! So there's now a new thread for "lines" so this one can continue down the dating road!! Both TF and I had started a new thread for "lines" but they're now merged so all should be a-okay!! (I hope!)

Now back to your regularly scheduled thread topic!!
