Its fun to humanize cigarettes and it really helps me to understand what I was doing.
I would hire 40 employees each day and some of them would demand immediate attention , while the majority of employees just came in and did there job . Now some employees where Special they needed to be taken to special area's to be able to work, but at the end of the day they all where fired because the company was still losing money. So 40 new employees where hired for the next day in hopes that things would improve..then repeat..after x amount of years I can see why are unemployment rate is so high in the States and around the World..
Well that my lil daily ditty

Dear Diary
I was able to sleep in this morning and woke up to yet another rainy day, this is the third rainy day in a row so that means I will be spending alot of time in and around the house. My office is a smoke free zone so I spend alot of time in here..not hiding out but working on finding ways to sell online during these hard times that are affecting many/most people and posting on SD which has been a favorite thing for me to do when I have the extra time. Outside my office I am able to co-exist with my partner in regular conversations and just the day to day happenings around the house. There is still alcohol in the house but I will not drink any because (not mentioned before) its a trigger to smoke. I don't not and will not complain to my partner about these items in the house because it has taken several years for them to establish there presence here. my partner is supportive of my decision to quit and I think it has caught her by surprise that I have actually/finally quit smoking and drinking. I want to thank my Doctor for knowing me, understanding me and cutting me some slack by providing me some sleep aids and some low dose meds for a temporary time to get past what most of you know is a cleaning out process. I didn't get everything done on my list of things to do today and I ate a tad bit more than I usually do but all in all my 6th day was Awesome and I am looking forward to tomorrow with bright eye's and a happy face
Good Night my SD Family... Your the Bestest !

Just a thought.....they say that those who quit smoking gain some weight. I can testify that it's TRUE. So, if you find yourself "eating a tad bit more than you usually do" while fighting your war, go for a walk, or run in place in your office, or do anything at all to burn some calories. Or you'll find yourself in my position.....trying to lose weight so I can fit into my dive gear before the next dive trip!

Tammy and Divzac and Everybody else Thank You for
Dear Diary
Today was pretty awesome, the rain was gone and I was able to work outside getting the garden ready for this year. I'm pretty excited because In a few short hours it will be a week sense I started this "patch" program and preparing myself ahead of time by working on the triggers of smoking plus having some support before and during this program has been pretty cool. only in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that I would be quiting smoking and then posting a diary about it on SD, the only way this could get better is if somebody else (anonymously) has been following this themselves. What I like about the "patch" program is you are allowed to have a slip or two during the 8 weeks and you don't have to start over, So don't beat yourself up, just.. stick to..and..stay with.. the program. anybody that is just tuning in on this thread and are considering quitting smoking, consult your Doctor and be honest with them and yourself.
I hope Everybody has a Great Night and a Great Week !

It was nice meeting you last year, the next time we meet you will not be able to smell me coming...sooo..watch your back
I'm not sure if posting my diary every night is a good Idea, because eventually It will be To Much Information and you really don't need/want to know about Nitrox my pet Armadillo and what he did at my neighbors house today.

But seriously...I do not think that many people realize how hard it is to stay with something like this...and perhaps others will be inspired to do the same.
Funny how the weather affects us and causes triggers for things...stress does the same and of course alcohol and sometimes food etc.
I too am very proud of you...keep up the great job and of course please keep us posted on your progress...hugs my dear! kamala
