You mean that they have ice down there?  Just kidding, I remember that the Panthers made it to the finals back in the early nineties and have been in the playoffs since.

BTW, my local team won their first playoff game of the season a couple of nights ago.

Yep! I was at every home game except the Philly series- I was out in Vegas playing pool but managed to catch the last game of that series on the BIG screen at Ceasar's sportsbook. I used to be a Flyers fan but hated Lindros so much that he made it possible to change my allegiance.
The last game of the finals was such a thriller- triple OT & a 1-0 loss. We all stayed in the stands for hours just revelling in our team's cinderella run. The year of the rat!

Let's see, your team would be Detroit? :o

Yep, that would Stevie Y's team! We are crossing our fingers up here. Typically the team that wins the regular season doesn't win the cup and we all know which one is more important to most hockey fans. The team that got the cup the year that the Panthers won it is pretty well despised up here for some reason. I was rooting for the Panthers for no other reason than to NOT see Claude Lemieux lift the cup that year!

WOW

It seems like i don't fall into anyones category LOL

I think age dosent matter to a point. Well then it actaully would I guess. Oh nevermind I am just proving as to why you want someone in their late 20's and not their early ones. :anna:

Ana

And I know that a thirty-five year old would be too old, right?

Like the line from an old movie says:

Under 18... Protected by law

Over 65... Protected by nature (sorry I am quoting here)

Anything in between... FAIR GAME!

Special credit to whoever can guess the movie!

Sorry Mike, I'm not good at movie trivia, but I'm pretty sure both your guesses are wrong. Better ask Sapphire, she's excellent.

Walter need some HELP here.

The African Queen was closer in era. I need to correct something:

I had the spirit of the line correct, but it is actually:

Under 21 (not 18, I was thinking law not of the movie quote on that one)--->protected by law.

The rest of it is correct.
